    knowledgeable guide
    amazing views

Couples looking for a unique experience

We had this amazing drive through the estate with a guy named Kobus, who shared his deep knowledge of the area. The views were fine, and we made a real connection with him in just an hour!

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but honestly, it was still acceptable for what we experienced.

    excellent facilities
    cozy fireplace

great facilities , but dining needs improvement

The facilities here were excellent, offering countless activities across the expansive hotel. I particularly enjoyed the cozy fireplace in the suite with a warm atmosphere during our winter stay. The beds were comfortable. I also loved the local seafood served at dinner. It was fresh and full of flavor!

But while the spa wasn’t open all the time, the herb picking experience was fantastic! The fireplace in our room created such a warm ambiance, and the staff really knew how to make our stay feel special. The close connection to nature was just what we needed.

    family gathering
    unique experiences
    breakfast options

Staying here with my three grandkids was lovely! We loved exploring the fine gardens and learning about various pumpkins. The private courtyard made for perfect family gathering moments. The leisurely farm tour added a unique touch to our trip.

My kids wished for more breakfast options like pancakes.

    cozy nights
    beautiful grounds

    Beautiful. Magical. Fine.

We stayed 3 nights in a farmhouse suite. It was fine-great attention to detail with a comfy bed and private bathroom. Loved the fireplace for cozy nights. The grounds are beautiful with gardening, a spa, and activities like cycling and canoeing. Breakfast and dinner were homemade, using farm produce, though dinner could be better. Staff were friendly and always helpful.

    fine gardens
    limited dining options

The gardens were fine, and the

Activities provided something for everyone, like farm tours and kayaking. I felt the dining options could have been a bit more varied. A wider selection would enhance the overall experience.

    local seafood
    farm-to-table delights
    comfortable rooms
    breakfast variety
    packing supplies

Absolutely fine estate with really good farm-to-table delights. Local seafood was a true standout-fresh and bursting with flavor. Plus, the comfortable, clean rooms and friendly staff topped off a fabulous experience. Can't forget the fireplace-perfect touch for cozy nights!

While the breakfast spread could use more variety-think warm pastries and pancakes-everything else still sparkled. A little more bubble wrap for those precious olive oil souvenirs would go a long way!
